I kinda fell off the planet...

For those of you who know how active our family is you will be surprised to hear that we were "grounded" at home for 4 days last week. It was crazy! The kids have had a horrible cold that has lasted like 3 wks and then I got it followed by Anthony. We were all finally starting to feel better when I got REALLY sick. I just thought it was my cold just not going away. Well after missing work and having my neck swell up like a football player I went to the ER. They were more than happy to give me pain pills and send me on my way. In their defense they did a strep test and it was negative. Anyway I spent last weekend on the couch sleeping off the meds and wishing my throat would just stop hurting. Sunday wasn't much better so I just kept sleeping and taking meds. Monday morning I had to go to work because we had other staff out of the office. I went to work but made an appt for myself to see if this was really a BAD cold or something else. After a quick visit they sent me back in the exam room to wait. Apparently I have Strep really bad, they are not actually sure how they missed it on the other test but they did. Anyway, 2 days of meds later I am starting to feel a little better. The kids are getting back on schedule and we are starting to get ready for Grandma Nonnie's visit this weekend. Noah lost 3 teeth in the last 2 weeks and I have some great pictures to share. Kierstin had a vocabulary parade at school and her word was Ballerina. Jonah has decided that he doesn't go to daycare anymore, he now goes to "school" at Auntie Becca's.

All in all we are doing much better and I can't wait to post all the pictures and update you on all our activities. Have a great day and look for an update soon!
