Gratitude

As I ponder the wonderful blessings and joys that are my life I realize just how much I have to be grateful for. As a child my mom had these cassette tapes by Janeen Brady that she had us listen to on road trips and I remember one about gratitude. It said something like, "having a gratitude attitude shows appreciation. Having a gratitude attitude wins in every situation." So I wanted to take this moment to express my gratitude for all that I have been given. I am so grateful for a loving and supportive husband. He is so wonderful to me when I have meetings, workshops, and classes night after night. So thanks babe! I am grateful for children who make me want to be a better person so that they will excel. My amazing family who frustrates me sometimes, but is still TOTALLY awesome and very supportive. At this time in my life I am ESPECIALLY grateful for amazing friends who support me through thick and thin and help life me up when I am down. Thanks again for all you do for me and for letting me share my life with you. YOU ROCK!

Life in my fast lane.

Just a quick post to let you know that I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. I am still here and we are all doing well. My mom was here and we were canning cranberries. YUM! We got them from the local bog here in Bandon, OR. It is a very rewarding result. After we finished the cranberries I had my scrapbook club and then my annual Christmas Card workshop. So much fun and but lots of work and lots of things going on. However, I am doing fine, just very busy. Kids are all doing well. Kierstin is getting ready for her Christmas recital and her performance with the Eugene Ballet company in the Nutcracker. Noah is working on his Karate advancement and loving being a reader. Jonah is just a busy 2 year old boy who is loving all things Star Wars, dinosaurs, and lots of Geo Trax trains. I will post again soon!

Cousins make the best friends

Aren't cousins great? Some of my closest friends are my cousins. You know who you are! Cousins have always been there for me through EVERYTHING. So I was excited to take the kids to meet their new cousin, Alexis. As you can see from the photos they LOVED her. She is still having a hard time with keeping her oxygen saturation level up and regulating her breathing, but she is such a doll. Ben and Elsi are both really sleepy but very excited.
