December 16, 2008 - Christams Craft Night @ Blossom Gulch

Tonight was Craft night at school. The kids had fun making Christmas wreaths, beaded candy canes, and more. Their favorite was frosting the sugar cookies. I think Jonah ate more frosting than he put on his cookie but he had a ton of fun.

December 15, 2008 - 4th Grade Caroling at Shore Acres

Kierstin and the entire 4th grade were invited to sing at Shore Acres. Shore Acres is a historical site on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. They have amazing gardens in the spring and summer and a FABULOUS Holiday light display from Nov to Jan. http://http//www.shoreacres.net/ The kids did a great job and they sounded great. If you are ever here it is a great place to visit.

December 14, 2008 - Family Photos

Family photo shoot. Need I say more... The kids were great but it was COLD and SUPER WINDY. This was the beginning of that horrible storm that slammed Portland and Seattle. Luckily the kids were all wearing sweaters, however, my wardrobe choices were not as smart. The pictures were taken by a local photographer who is also a friend. I think they turned out great! December 13th, 2008

Saturday, December 13th was a BUSY day for our family. Our day started with Kierstin's Christmas dance performance at the mall. She was amazing! She was in almost every dance and she knew them all and looked great. We are so proud of her! Here are a few pictures:

After Kierstin's show we ran a few errands at the mall. Then it was off to get ready for my company party. It was a 70's disco theme with dinner and dancing. Our office had secretly been practicing for the dance contest for a few weeks. We had all learned how to Hustle and we were pretty good. One of the girls from our office actually won 1st place. It was amazing! We all had a swingin' time. Here are some pictures from our big night out on the town.
