We are still alive...
I wanted to post and let you know that we are still alive and are just VERY busy. The kids have all been sick with a cold for 2 weeks and Jonah ended up with a sinus infection. Kierstin and Noah are finally feeling better and Jonah started antibiotics on Thursday. As for me I have managed to stay healthy, however, I am now working full-time for the next 8 weeks because I am covering my co-workers maternity leave. It will be lots of fun but I am going to miss my kids. I just wanted to let you all know that we are doing fine but trying to stay healthy and happy. :-)

Kierstin's BFF
Kierstin has always been a very social little girl, Anthony says it is because she takes after her mom and I say it is just her personality. When we first moved to Coos Bay almost 8 years ago we lived in an apartment. When Kierstin started going to Nursery we realized that one of the families in our complex had a little girl Kierstin's age that was in the Nursery with her. The Miller's lived up one floor and across from us. Rebecca and Kierstin used to "yell" back and forth across the balaconies at each other. They have been insperable every since. The Millers moved to ID almost 2 years ago but they recently sold their house here and came back to pack it all up. Kierstin was so sad to see them leave but she knows that Rebecca is her BEST FRIEND FOREVER.

Beautiful Beach Weather
The month of January has been so weird weather wise with all the flooding and snowing in Oregon and Washington. I guess it shouldn't surprise me that we had 10 (yes, 10) beautiful sunny days here for past few weeks. It was so amazing to not be kept indoors by the rain and wind that we decided to head for the beach. It was so wonderful to be out enjoying the beach in January. We walked one of the beach trails out by Shore Acres and it was so beautiful. We also found this great tree that had blown over and had the perfect root system to take a great picture. The kids loved climbing all over it and I got some great pictures.

Can we go swimming?
Have I ever told you that I thought Jonah was part fish? That boy loves the water and just can't get enough of it. I was sorting through the dress-up tub the other day trying to downsize and he found Kierstin's actual swim goggles. He was so excited! He put them on and "swam" around the house asking over and over "Can we go swimming, please." I just smiled and told him that we couldn't go today. What a cute boy!
"I ready to go Mama."
OK, so I have to tell you just how much laughter and joy Jonah brings to my life. He is a silly boy all the time. The other day I was in a hurry to drop Jonah off at daycare and get to work. I told him that he needed to get dressed fast so that we could leave. The next thing I know he showed at the front door and told me, "I ready to go Mama." I was pretty impressed. He had hat, boots, pj's, and his backpack. I stuffed his clothes in his bag and said he was ready. He was pretty pleased with himself and I was too!
