New Year, New Look

Can you believe that it is 2010?  Where did the last half of 2009 go... If your life is a "busy" as mine I am sure that you understand.  I blinked and December had come and gone.  Lots of exciting days, family visits, Christmas, and more.  I will share those later.

We had our family pictures taken a few days ago and since it was a new year I decided that the blog needed a new look and a new picture.  I hope that you enjoy it!  This is just one of the proofs from our photo shoot.  I will post more after I get them.

Wishing you a healthy, happy and harmonious year!

Taking down the Laundry Monster

So...Am I the only one who has issues with laundry? Not getting it washed or dryed, but folding and putting away. I know I can't be the only one, but sometimes it feels like it. My amazing friend, Kelly, can relate to my CRAZINESS with laundry so she bought me the best present ever. The fabulous "Flip n Fold". This little piece of plastic is AMAZING. I now have the most organized and neatly folded clothes and towels. Seriously, it is like retail display quality. Here is the best part - the kids can do it all by themselves. They even have a junior size for little kids clothes. I know I shouldn't get so excited about laundry, but anything that helps me take down the laundry monster is VERY EXCITING. Here is a picture of my linen closet after folding all the towels with the flip n fold. Check them out on the web at http://www.flipfold.com/

Halloween 2009

Our Halloween was VERY busy. The kids had fabulous costumes, as usual. Thanks to Auntie Becca for them. :-) They were Musketeers and a Maiden. Kierstin refused to be a boy! So back to our day. We started the day with getting pictures taken at a one hour photo place in their costumes. Then off to Kierstin's dance performance. She had several dances all of which were halloween themed, I think her favorite was her "SuperHero" dance because she got to be Spidergirl. It was very cool! After the dancing was done we trick or treated around the mall. Very nice idea when you live in the Pacific NW, less rain and wind that way. After the mall we headed home to do a couple of the streets in our neighborhood. The final event of the night was family dinner out. It was so much fun! Jonah is still asking me almost every day if he can go trick or treating "5 more times". Here are some pictures of our day.
